Product Description

Diarylide Yellow HR is a transparent AAOT diarylide yellow pigment. Primarily recommended for solvent based printing inks, it is manufactured by tetrazotizing a benzidine to form the tetrazo salt, which is coupled with an acetoacetanilide coupling agent. The diarylide yellow pigment has a desirable reddish shade and contains fewer aromatic amine impurities. Due to its stability, Diarylide Yellow HR is used in inks, coatings, and many plastics. Widely demanded in printing ink and packaging industry, the pigment is insoluble.
